This Privacy Policy explains how Willxcel Inc. dba DataThat ("DataThat," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, install or use the DataThat application, connect supported services, or contact support.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
We collect information used to create and manage your DataThat account, such as your email address, account identifiers, subscription status, and authentication information.
Connected CRM information
When you install and connect DataThat, we may process business account identifiers, contact identifiers, contact updates, tags, tag activity, tag application or removal timestamps recorded by DataThat, and custom field names and values present on synced contacts. DataThat uses this information to provide reports, charts, lists, widgets, and dashboards.
Google reporting information
If you connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics, we may process the authorized property identifiers and reporting metrics needed to display the DataThat analytics dashboard. Your use of Google services is also governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.
Payment information
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. DataThat may receive transaction identifiers, subscription details, billing status, and limited billing contact information. We do not need to store full payment card numbers when payment processing is handled by those providers.
Website, device, and usage information
We may collect IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, diagnostic data, and information about how the website and application are used. Cookies and similar technologies may be used for authentication, preferences, security, analytics, and service operation.
Support communications
When you contact us, we collect the information you provide, including your contact details, message, attachments, and information needed to investigate and respond to your request.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve DataThat.
- Connect authorized accounts and process synced reporting data.
- Record tag activity and generate charts, lists, reports, and dashboards.
- Authenticate users and protect accounts and services.
- Manage subscriptions, transactions, and customer support.
- Monitor performance, diagnose problems, and prevent misuse or fraud.
- Communicate service updates and respond to requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Initial Tag Sync
The source CRM may not provide the original date and time for tags that existed before DataThat was connected. In that situation, DataThat records those existing tags with the date and time of the initial sync. Tag additions and removals received after connection are recorded as those updates are processed.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to service providers that help us host, secure, support, analyze, bill for, or operate DataThat. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transaction, or when you direct or authorize us to do so.
DataThat does not sell synced CRM contact data. We do not use synced CRM contact data for unrelated advertising.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain required business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it was collected. Information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you are responsible for protecting your account credentials and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
7. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; receive a copy of certain information; or object to or restrict certain processing. You may also disconnect DataThat from the connected CRM account and revoke access to connected Google services through the applicable provider settings.
To submit a privacy request, use the form on our Support page. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
8. Cookies and Browser Controls
You can adjust cookie controls through your browser. Disabling required cookies may prevent account login or other parts of DataThat from functioning correctly. Where legally required, we will provide additional choices for nonessential cookies or similar technologies.
9. Children's Privacy
DataThat is a business reporting service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us through the Support page.
10. International Processing

12. Changes to This Policy
